The story was good,but it was short. There could have been more story involving the two characters romance. However, a good read.
I loved this book. I thought for a short book there was good character development and decent plot. Things could have been hotter but I always say that ;)
The story is decent, a young woman and her dad's best friend coming together. He's Latino, she's not, and at his age, he's done things he's not proud of. Priscilla, with her old-fashioned name, is by contrast, all blank slate and privilege.
My major issue is the lack of copy editing. Within the first five pages, I found five misspelled/misused words... and that rate continued throughout the story. It's distracting, but because this isn't the case with every Madison book, but some, it also feels insulting. Much cleaner text is possible from this author.
Enjoyed reading Ruben and Priscilla's romance. I enjoyed the quick read but really liked the characters and then wished the story was longer. I give this story 4 1/2 stars.
I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, steamy romance. There was no real conflict, drama, or angst but I didn't think it negatively impacted the story. Read with KU.
A really great book!!! The chemistry between the two is hot, hot, hot !!! The way he saves her from her ex boyfriend is panty melting... dare say he won't bother her ever again. To be protected like that feels amazing. I was happy that her parents didn't fight her on it. It was a very enjoyable book .
This a story you must read. Rueben is tall, dark, handsome and determined to stay on the straight and narrow. Enter Priscilla and everything is no longer straight, but full of curves. These are the kind of curves Rueben doesn't mind taking. Rueben and Priscilla are just too hot and spicey to handle. Come put some spice in your life. Oh, and bring an ice cold drink, you're going to need it.
I love your writing style. Awesome
